Random Inspiration

Look busy even if you’re not with this 14 prim largely sculpted computer workstation with built in scripted texture display screen and high quality animated sit.

Included are generic ’sculpting’ , ‘texturing’ and ’scripting’ screen captures along with some less serious pictures. Simply add or remove full permissions textures from the contents of the workstation to make them display on the screen. The screen can be set up to work on a slideshow ( timer is set by typing the amount of seconds in the object description ) or change on left click.

This started life as a straw bale sofa we made for our horse avatars, they had a rented stall and we furnished it out in horsey type stuff, such as a sofa made of straw bales, well it may have been straw but the design was good so it got retextured for our castle home, and it fitted in nicely, so nicely in fact we decided to release it.

This version comes with five sits (four animated, one static) and one cuddle, no poseballs just right click a prim on the sofa and sit. Sits are located in the seat cushions, arms and back (static ). The cuddle sit is located in the throw cushions, male on the left and female on the right.

It also has several textures that can be cycled through by clicking the shadow prim at the base of the sofa, texture change is owner only so visitors can’t disrupt your decor. A demo version with the owner only restriction removed can be found in our store.

We’ve packaged up the props we made for our little glade, sculpted and low prim we thought they might be useful to other builders.

The pack contains:

• hollow sculpted tree log (1 prim)
• Mushroom (1 prim)
• Toadstool (1 prim)
• Tree stump with two animated sits, just left click the top or side of the log to sit (2 prims)

This is the last of the update posts to catch up to the present after the blogs hiatus.

Over Easter we moved from our old plot at Sabulella to our new home in Nautilus, while we loved our place at Sabu it was in a pg area and with the upcoming possibilty of changes to the mature rules, and the fact we do sell collars albeit squeeky, ringing, rattling pet ones, we decided it might be good to look for a mature plot. I wasn’t sure if we could find anywhere as nice as what we had but after much looking around I visited Nautilus, the area appealed to me instantly, like our Sabu place a lot of the surrounding land is Linden owned so around each area are wide Linden pathways, and open Linden areas, all the plots on that island are square and set in groups of 2, 3 or 4 plots together with linden land around them. Because of the large amounts of Linden land the plots are also double prim!

Well I dragged Regan there and he agreed it was the best place for us to go, it also meant we could have less land for the same amount of prims more or less, good for tier as well :)

So after selling most of Sabu to our neighbour there we bought four plots in Suniaton and set about making our new store, this time we chose to put the store “upstairs” in a skybox to keep it more together, one of the faults of Sabu was it was all over the place, but it looked pretty *blush*, on the ground we have made it a nice little gladed area, we still have to have pretty somewhere :)

Here is the new store, of course a normal skybox was out of the question, it had to be random or it wouldn’t be us :)

When you arrive you will be in the central walkway, each pod is signed to say what’s inside.

In the Avatar one you may find Random Bohemian modelling the new Wood Nymph outfit, she will be logged in using sleek so wont be very responsive if you try chatting to her, she can’t actually see you.

The Lucky Chair has also been revamped to go with the new store.

We are very pleased with the new place and being in a mature sim means we can expand our products a bit more, Regan has quite a few RLV related gadgets and things he’s working on, he’s also been playing with sculpties a bit more, he even made this latex sculpted skirt i’m wearing.

This outfit has been a wip for what seems like forever but finally it’s finished, Wood Nymph is a full prim pretty leaf and flower outfit plus shape, pg & mature skins and eyes to go with it. The flowers have a colour change script attached, just click a piece of the outfit and a menu will appear giving you a choice of changing the petals or the stamens, there’s quite a few different colours to choose from.

It also has a collar, wristbands and anklets, while they aren’t scripted there’s no reason they can’t have collar or cuff scripts inserted. And some pretty floral earrings too.

The hair though is not included, I was looking for a new hairstyle for my bunny when I saw it at Magika and it looked perfect for the promo pics, it does go very well with this outfit :)

Wood Nymph is L$490

In the hopes of a nice hot summer this year and to drag me out of the winter doldrums, seeing as spring is taking its time arriving, I decided to make something summery which turned into Summer Breeze. A cute tie up puff sleeved top and a short flexi skirt with frilly underlayer in 6 pastel colours, on Regan’s suggestion ( because he pays close attention to this kind of thing :P ) instead of the normal “shorts” style glitch pants I made a cut off skirt section with white lace panties attached, and also one with no panties so it can be worn with your own underwear of choice, I was really pleased with how well that works so will probably stick to that method in future.

And because I like completeness in things I persuaded Regan that it needed shoes to go with it, as usual he did me proud making his first pair of sculpted shoes, they look amazing and when I did the promo shot I was stunned how real they looked O.0

The shoes have a colour change script inside to easily match them to the outfit colours.

So how is it paw friendly? easiest way for me to explain is to cheat and copy a bit of Regan’s notecard about it.

Although I don’t engage in much combat I got fed up with weapons always requiring me to lose my prim paws, due to the scripting used. Some avatars look great with humanoid hands but the majority of anthro furry avatars were made with prim paws and they really do look so much better as the designer intended.

So…our weapons use subscripts in each of the weapon’s prims to hide or show. While this does (at least when there’s any server lag, i.e. 90% of the time) mean less instant hide/show, it does enable you to keep your paws, as only the weapon’s scripted prims will be affected by draw/sheath actions.

So basically in short you rez a copy of your prim paw, attach the dagger then use the included draw/sheath gestures to equip or unequip the dagger. Fuller instructions are included with the outfit. There’s also a dagger for those of you with just hands :P

Rogue has also been updated with the same paw friendly scripting on the ornate dagger to make it a useable weapon instead of just ornamentation.

Well it’s been quite a while since either of us posted here as we were both off doing other things and then my wehost packed up and it was offline for a couple of months as well, but now after a webhost move i’ve finally uploaded the blog again, there was quite a few products missing I wanted to add so here goes….
